How can we help?

Academic Strategies Mentors can help you develop new learning strategies that will help you reach your academic goals. In 1-1 meetings, the mentors will help you adopt effective methods for your individual learning style and put those methods into practice in your daily academic work.

How to make an appointment

On the schedule page click on any available white box. If no appointment fits your schedule, email us at academicstrategies@yale.edu. All appointments are scheduled for one hour. Tell us about your goals for the appointment. You will receive an email confirmation; be sure to read this message as it contains instructions specific to this service. All sessions takes place athe Center for Teaching and Learning in Sterling Memorial Library, 301 York St. (Enter the building off York Street, opposite Toad's, or via the Sterling nave.)

Where are we located?

Academic Strategies Mentors work at the Center for Teaching and Learning in Sterling Memorial Library, 301 York St. (Enter the building off York Street, opposite Toad's, or via the Sterling nave.)

 

Please only make appointments you know you can keep. If you must cancel, you may do so online up to 12 hours before your appointment. After that you must email or phone your tutor. Nobody likes a no show, so please don’t be one.
